Graphic Arts & Design Internship

Siona Entertainment is seeking a highly motivated and very creative graphic artist and web designer intern to join our team.

Job Description:

Siona Entertainment has an opportunity for an intern to join our design team. A successful candidate will be interested in pursuing a career in the Graphic and Web Design field.

This person will be part of the Creative Design team. This individual will follow the Siona Entertainment graphic standards while applying and utilizing creative approaches to internal and external materials.

This person will have the opportunity to create of a wide variety materials-graphic elements including but not limited print publications, website graphics, marketing materials, web design, and website maintenance Intern will explore creative concepts while working with professional staff in an in-house graphic design function.

Siona Entertainment’s environment promotes personal, professional, creative growth. The intern should expect to work independently and in a team to learn how to apply creative concepts in a non profit setting, organize work, and how to communicate effectively with internal customers. The intern will gain technical and leadership skills. They will experience an organization that values quality work, creativity, and customer service.

Candidate Requirements:

A strong interest and knowledge in both Graphic Design and Web Design.

Experience in designing marketing material, flyers, invitations, external and internal needs and/or strong creative portfolio is recommended. As well as experience in web design and flash.

Experience with Macintosh computers and experience with graphic design software such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and others.

Experience with Microsoft Word, EXCEL, Power Point, etc.
Willingness to work what is needed to meet deadlines for simultaneous projects.
Sensitivity organizational needs and designing for that audience.
Strong judgment and decision-making skills essential
Ability to work under deadlines and produce work quickly
Must work well in a team setting and collaborate on artistic ideas
Must have dependable transportation and provide own personal laptop with up-to-date software, Macintosh platform preferred but not required.

Location: Telecommuting maybe acceptable for the right candidate
